I heard this song in Kay's blog which I follow and who is also one of my fellow readers of my blog. Thanks Kay for this song. It's encouraging to hear God's words in a song with a melody that can soothe the raging soul. I want to share this website that expounds more on 'waiting upon the Lord', click The Godly Man to read and understand more.
Inspired by a kindred spirit. Read my first posting entitled 'Splashes of Grace' in April 2009 and you will know how I was inspired to start this blog.God bless you!

Our Heavenly Silversmith
Share with you an email that I received. Be Bless!
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up.He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.
The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'
He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy --when I see my image in it.'
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
'Life is like a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Malachi 3:3 says:This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

You Are My Strength
God is the strength of my heart,
Without Him I can do nothing of worth,
He and I will never be apart,
He is the One who formed my birth.
His grace is sufficient for me,
No matter where I've been,
Or where I'm going to be,
Acceptance will always be found in Him.

Stop, Look, Listen
This morning I was reminded once again of this very common verse in
Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Last night I saw that verse on a cover of Our Daily Journey and also this morning when I opened this email from Kenneth Copeland Higher Fitness Monthly Prayer which I had received two days ago. These words seems to stand out to me for a few days and I have ignored it so today I resubmit all my desires, worries and burdens unto God.
The scariest part about trusting God is when you can't hear Him clearly and confusion starts to creep in. There are just so many voices that become noises to our mind. At the same time I know I should be dwelling in God's Word more to clear my mind of things that are not right. So today I would like to encourage you to let go of your worries and let God take His rightful place in your decision making. So STOP, LOOK to HIM and LISTEN to His voice that will lead us in the right path. And then obedience is the last choice we have to make.
